LAST WEEKEND! 4/27/24
What a whirlwind weekend that was. Energy work brings up all the feels. Tears of gratitude
coupled with tiny releases to major shifts. The underlying fears and anxieties followed by the
relief of hope and safety. I was up at 3:45 am taking Stepahanie back to the airport. We chit
chatted and girl talked all the way there. I am grateful for all that we shared and learned. I am
looking forward to the Reiki Share Group I will carry on, now that I have experienced the full
benefits of participating and sharing with our community. I look forward to hosting that group
soon.
This weekend was also a little stressful to me. Juggling work and home life. As all the
responsibilities are still there. So, learning to balance the time, the work, the fun, the emotional
stuff. It’s my, just for today reminder that we are all human. We all have good and bad. We all
can experience joy and great disappointment at the same time. Same as fear and hope. When
someone texts news of a horrific medical problem minutes before you had to engage in a deep
and meaningful way with random public, or some of the plans you made expecting a certain
outcome didn’t turn out that way and you still had to participate; Yes, it’s difficult but as the
Buddha reminded us of the term impermanence. Nothing stays the same. No matter how good
or how bad everything changes. Over-all, we had a great weekend celebrating Stephanie Taylor
Psychic, and Author. We laughed, we cried, we shared incredible insights, we ate good food and
made a few new friends. That’s the beauty of life! It keeps rolling in the cycles of birth, life,
death and rebirth. Take a moment and assess yourself. What cycle of life are you in right now?
As you take that inventory and peel back the layers, feel the feels (good or bad) remember
everything is impermanent. Appreciate your learning, give gratitude for the good stuff. And
know this time will give you options in the future.
This week, Tuesday with Teresa will be on the Loving Kindness Meditation. This meditation is an
opportunity to soften yourself, experience pure unconditional love, and feel what it is like to
hold compassion in your heart space. It’s a wonderful daily practice you can do in a few
minutes, or it’s a deep practice you can take your time in deep awareness of self and others.
How ever the practice shows up in your life, I wish for you to be happy, to be healthy, to have
peace and to live with ease. Friday, I think I will bring out a bowl or two and shower the
students with a little sound
Until next week … Namaste
